China-US Strategic Economic Dialogue to be held next week

The Chinese Foreign Ministry says the second meeting of the China-US Strategic Economic Dialogue will be held next Tuesday and Wednesday in Washington.

Vice Premier Wu Yi will attend as China's special envoy and co-chair the meeting with US Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson. Discussion will center on issues including investment, energy, environment, and the service sector.

The first China-US Strategic Economic Dialogue took place late last year. The meeting is seen as a key platform for enhancing cooperation between the two countries.
