S. Korea shocked by U.S. shooting link

South Koreans have expressed their shock at learning that it was a South Korean, who was allegedly responsible for the deadliest shooting rampage in modern US history.

Cho Byung-Je, spokesman S. Korean Foreign Ministry, said, "We here in Korea also were very much shocked at the horrific incident and we Korean people and the Korean government would like to express our heartfelt condolences to the victims and bereaved families of the American people."

Lee Sang Han, college student, said, "I want to express my deepest sympathy to the victims of the shooting. I also hope that South Korean residents will not be victimized because the suspect was Korean."
