China holds English speaking contest in HK

University students from the mainland as well as Hong Kong and Macao Special Administrative Regions have been competing against each other on their language skills.
The English- and Mandarin-speaking contest was held in Hong Kong on Sunday. Students from 28 universities participated in the event.
With a top cash prize of 10,000 Hong Kong dollars, the contest aimed to promote the language skills of students in China.
