China´s cabinet appoints new ministerial officials

BEIJING, March 1 (Xinhua) -- China's State Council, the cabinet, has appointed new deputy heads for a number of ministries on Thursday.

Sun Baoshu and Yuan Yanpeng were both appointed the vice minister of Labor and Social Security, replacing Bu Zhengfa and Hua Fuzhou.

Qi Ji replaces Liu Zhifeng as the vice minister of construction.

Wang Guoqiang was appointed vice health minister and the director of Traditional Chinese Medicine Administration, to replace She Jing.

Wang's position as the deputy director of National Population and Family Planning Commission is now taken by Wang Pei'an.

Fan Wei was removed of the chairperson of the Supervisory Committee of the State-owned Key Financial Institutions.
