9 kidnapped Chinese workers freed in Nigeria

Nine Chinese oil workers were freed by their captors Sunday.

They are reported to be in stable condition and resting at their base in Port Harcourt, the capital of Nigeria's southern Rivers State. Word on their condition comes from their employer.

The workers were kidnapped last week by an armed group. Foreign Ministry spokeswoman, Jiang Yu, says the workers will soon be returning to China.
