Air tickets to Taiwan available for spring festival charter flights

Tickets for charter flights from Shanghai to Taiwan during Chinese Lunar New Year are now available. Shanghai Airlines started selling tickets on Tuesday for eight round-trip charter flights.

Thirteen ticket centers in Shanghai are taking reservations.

At least one ticket agency in each of the neighboring cities of Kunshan, Wujiang, Wuxi and Nantong are also taking bookings.

In addition, there is a 24-hour service hotline. Shanghai Airlines has scheduled six round-trip, non-stop charter flights to Taipei between February the 14th and 25th. And another two round-trip charter flights between Shanghai and Kaohsiung. The Chinese Lunar New Year starts on February 18th.

From February 5th and throughout the two-week holiday, Taiwan Airlines will make 96 charter flights. They will link the three largest mainland cities of Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou with Taipei and Kaohsiung of Taiwan.
