China, US, ABD sign environmental protection statement

A joint statement for cooperation to protect the environment has been signed at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing.

Friday's signing ceremony witnessed the involvement of China's State Environmental Protection Administration, the Environmental Protection Agency of the US and Asian Development Bank. The statement was signed with the aim of protecting the environment while promoting sustainable economic growth, achieving effective policy reform, strengthening institutions, and raising human capital to improve human health and environmental quality in China. It establishes a framework for tripartite cooperation and expresses the willingness of the three parties to work together.
