Palestinian PM: Hamas-led government never recognize Israel

Visiting Palestinian Prime Minister Ismail Haneya says the Hamas-led government will never recognize the state of Israel. Haneya made the remark on Sunday during a speech to college students in Tehran.

On the last day of his visit to Iran, the Palestinian Prime Minister also accused the US forces of trying to incite disunity and sectarian violence among the Islamic nations of the region. On the same day, Haneya met with top Iranian leaders, including Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and first Vice President Parviz Davoudi. Both have expressed complete support for the Hamas-led Palestinian government.

The visit to Iran is Haneya's first overseas trip since taking office in March.
