Special Report:   Hu visits 4 Asian nations

Chinese President, Hu Jintao, has arrived in Islamabad, on the last leg of his four-nation Asian tour. He is expected to meet with top Pakistani leaders to discuss bilateral ties, as well as exchanges and cooperation in various fields.

On hand to greet President Hu Jintao was his Pakistani counterpart, Pervez Musharraf, and other top Pakistani political and military leaders.

In a written statement delivered upon arrival, Hu Jintao said that China and Pakistan are good neighbors, and that friendly ties between the two countries have contributed to peace, stability and prosperity in the region.

Hu Jintao said since the two counties forged diplomatic ties 55 years ago, they've built an all-weather friendship and enjoyed comprehensive cooperation.
