One year on, most students have come out from the shadow of the disaster. Many say the earthquake has changed their attitude towards life. Zhang Zhengliang and his friends are more open and optimistic about the future.

Zhang Zhengliang said, "The earthquake hasn't affected my study, but rather pushed me to study harder to contribute to society."

Jing Yaxin showed us the blueprint for Aba Teachers College. It will be a modern building in a scenic spot. His ambition is to help earn the new college a national ranking in the future.

Zhang Zhengliang loves music more than before. It brings back all the memories and gives him hope and confidence. The earthquake taught him painful but valuable lessons, and his life is ready to turn a new page.
