CPPCC member impressed with open atmosphere

Lee says the challenges facing the country's economic development top the list of priorities for members. Lee says he is particularly interested in the development of family enterprises the majority of which are small and medium sized ones.

CPPCC member Sammy Lee said, "After the financial tsunami everybody is not relaxed. Many members have raised suggestions on how to fight the economic downturn. I'm glad that small and medium sized enterprises are one of the hot topics. They are vulnerable in the crisis and their survival is extremely important in maintaining the country's healthy development."

Lee was also impressed with the open atmosphere among the CPPCC members.

CPPCC member Sammy Lee said, "Discussions have been very open, concerning almost every sector of our society. And the suggestions have also been very diverse. This is the way the CPPCC should be. I have seen many good suggestions from my fellow members."
