Grand gala to air on Tibetan New Year´s Eve

The Tibetan New Year's eve gala has now become a new tradition for people in the region. Tibetans can also enjoy many traditional arts during the holiday. Performers of Tibetan Opera and other traditional art forms will tour villages and put on performances.

Tibetans have a 7-day holiday to celebrate their own New  Year. Many different cultural events will mark the festival.
