Thirty tents, in the uniform color of white, are set up in Beijing's Olympic Park. They welcome staff from the global media and private visitors from around the world. The tents serve as exhibition halls. Here one finds displays of China's intangible cultural heritage and folk customs. There are photographs and multi-media arrays. It's interactive - welcoming visitors to join in on some of the cultural activities.
The exhibition opens August 8th and runs through the Olympics and the Paralympics. The event is co-organized by China's Ministry of Culture and the Beijing Olympic Committee.
