Yu Jun, technician, said, "We are now installing a Blue Tooth emitter behind each of the stele. When visitors get close to a one, they will see an animated picture on their Blue Tooth cellphones. The animated pictures will reveal the stories behind the stele."

This is the first step of a five-year project to digitize the entire museum. Plans call for a web site and a four-D cinema.

The museum, considered " China's largest stone library", houses more than 3000 inscribed stones engraved during a 2000-year period from the Han to the Qing Dynasties.
