指挥家：胡咏言

　　CCTV.com消息：胡咏言出生于上海的一个音乐世家，5岁起跟随外祖父学习小提琴，1977年就读于中央音乐学院，师从郑小瑛教授。胡咏言曾指挥过上海芭蕾舞团乐团，1986年赴美国后，他在耶鲁大学和朱丽亚音乐学院师从奥托?W.缪勒继续深造，他曾获得布鲁诺?沃特奖学金，1989年取得朱丽亚音乐学院硕士学位。

　　胡咏言是一位活跃于世界乐坛的华裔指挥家，他的指挥活动遍及纽约、芝加哥、洛杉矶、维也纳、巴黎、伦敦、慕尼黑、日内瓦等地。他曾担任美国明尼苏达州德鲁斯交响乐团的艺术总监、指挥和美国内布拉斯加州林肯交响乐团的艺术总监、指挥。胡咏言还在世界其他许多乐团担任客席指挥，其中包括法国国家交响乐团、英国皇家爱乐乐团、新加坡交响乐团、布法罗爱乐乐团、香港管弦乐团和中国交响乐团。2000年起，胡咏言被聘为上海大剧院签约乐团――上海广播交响乐团的艺术总监和指挥。

　　胡咏言曾成功地指挥了悉尼歌剧院――上海大剧院卫星双向传送音乐会。他与好莱坞碗型剧场乐团合作的演出经电视转播，全世界收看的人数多达十亿，引起了极大的轰动。他还被邀请参加了维也纳现代音乐节的演出。不久前，纳索斯马可波罗唱片公司发行了他最新的唱片。胡咏言曾率领上海交响乐团和中央乐团出访瑞士、德国、意大利、韩国、马来西亚和香港、台湾等地，所到之处均受到欢迎和好评。

　　Yongyan Hu Conductor

　　Yongyan Hu was born into a musical family in Shanghai, China. At the age of 5, he began violin lessons with his grandfather. In 1977, he was enrolled by the Central Conservatory of Music in Beijing, studying under Professor Zheng Xiaoying. He has served as the music director and conductor of the Shanghai Ballet Company Orchestra and the Shanghai Musician Society Philharmonic. In 1986, he moved to the United States and entered the Yale University and afterwards the renowned Juilliard School with Otto W. Mueller. Before he graduated from the Juilliard School in 1989, Yongyan Hu was awarded the Bruno Walter Fellowship.

　　As a Chinese-American conductor, Yongyan Hu is active in the musical scene of the world. He has appeared in many cities, including New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, Vienna, Paris, London, Munich and Geneva. He has been appointed as the music director and conductor of the Duluth Superior Symphony in Minnesota, USA. As the guest conductor, he has conducted such orchestras as the National Orchestra of France, the Royal Philharmonic in England, the Singapore Symphony Orchestra, the Buffalo Philharmonic, the Hong Kong Philharmonic and China National Symphony Orchestra.

　　Recently Yongyan Hu successfully conducted an ‘Interactive Live Transmission’ concert, in which two ensembles performed simultaneously, one at the Sydney Opera House and the other at the Shanghai Grand Theater, linked by a satellite. Another televised event, in which he conducted the Hollywood Bowl Orchestra, was seen by millions of people around the world, causing a sensation. He was invited to conduct in Vienna Modern Music Festival. His most recent CD with Naxos' Maco Polo label has just been released. With the Shanghai Symphony Orchestra and the Central Philharmonic of China, he has made tours of Switzerland, Germany, Italy, South Korea and Malaysia, as well as such areas Hong Kong and Taiwan.
