指挥家：奥科?卡姆

　　CCTV.com消息：奥科?卡姆1946年出生于芬兰赫尔辛基的一个音乐家庭，父亲是赫尔辛基爱乐乐团低音提琴演奏员。他的第一位小提琴老师是日后成为赫尔辛基爱乐乐团首席的韦诺?阿利亚瓦。1952年，他进入西贝柳斯音乐学院，随昂尼?苏霍宁教授学习小提琴，此外还学习钢琴和音乐理论。

　　室内乐曾是奥科?卡姆的主要兴趣所在。他于1964年创建了苏霍宁弦乐四重奏组，并担任第一小提琴达十年之久。作为芬兰弦乐四重奏组首席，他于1978年与该四重奏组一道访问中国，成为“文革”结束后到北京和上海演出的第一个来自西方的音乐团体。

　　卡姆先生的职业音乐生涯开始于担任赫尔辛基爱乐乐团第二小提琴副首席。1966年，他被选为芬兰国家歌剧院乐团第一首席。翌年当该剧院需要一位第三指挥时，他承担了这一职位，同时继续担任乐团首席。

　　1969年奥科?卡姆应邀担任斯德哥尔摩皇家歌剧院客席指挥，同年参加首届赫伯特?冯?卡拉扬国际指挥比赛，荣获一等奖，由此开始了他在国际乐坛作为指挥家的艺术生涯。

　　奥科?卡姆曾担任芬兰广播交响乐团、奥斯陆爱乐乐团、斯德哥尔摩小交响乐团、赫尔辛堡交响乐团和赫尔辛基爱乐乐团音乐总监。1995年，他成为新加坡交响乐团首席客座指挥。1996年至2000年担任芬兰国家歌剧院首席指挥。他还曾任英国伯明翰市立交响乐团首席客座指挥。目前他是瑞士洛桑室内乐团首席客座指挥。

　　奥科?卡姆先生作为客席指挥与世界各地的乐团有过合作，指挥过包括柏林爱乐乐团在内的欧洲几乎所有著名乐团。伦敦的所有乐团都与他有着固定合作，他曾与英国皇家爱乐乐团两度在澳大利亚巡演，并指挥该团在珀斯和阿德莱德音乐节上演出。在美国，他指挥过的乐团包括芝加哥交响乐团、波士顿交响乐团、洛杉矶爱乐乐团、旧金山交响乐团、华盛顿国家交响乐团以及达拉斯交响乐团。在东方，他每年都访问日本，指挥日本爱乐乐团，同时与读卖交响乐团、大都会交响乐团和东京交响乐团合作。

　　2004年，卡姆先生首次指挥日本东京爱乐乐团、大阪爱乐乐团和吉隆坡马来西亚爱乐乐团，二次赴香港指挥香港管弦乐团，并再度与中国爱乐乐团合作。

　　奥科?卡姆为多家唱片公司录制过近100张唱片。1994年起，他成为瑞典皇家音乐协会会员。

　　Okko Kamu Conductor

　　Okko Kamu was born in 1946 into a musical family in Helsinki, Finland. His father played double bass in the Helsinki Philharmonic Orchestra. His fist violin teacher became the leader of the Orchestra, V?n?Arjava. In 1952 he continued his studies at the Sibelius Academy with Professor Onni Suhonen. He started his piano and theoretic studies there as well.

　　The chamber music was his main interest and he formed the Suhonen String Quartet in 1964 in which he stays as primarious for 10 years. AS a quartet leader he made a visit to China with the Finlandia Quartet in 1978, thus being the first musical group from the west to visit Beijing and Shanghai after the end of the Cultural Revolution.

　　Mr. Kamu's professional career started in the Helsinki Philharmonic Orchestra as a sub-leader of 2nd violin group in 1966 he was elected to become the 1st concert master of the Finnish National Opera's orchestra. A year later the company needed a third conductor and Kamu took up the position along with his tasks as a leader.

　　In 1969, he accepted a position of a guest conductor in the Royal Opera in Stockholm and in later that year he won the first prize in the first International Herbert von Karajan Conductor's Competition. This event led to the beginning of an extensive international career.

　　He has been Music Director of the Finnish Radio Symphony Orchestra, the Oslo Philharmonic, the Stockholm Sinfonietta, the Helsingborg Symphony Orchestra and the Helsinki Philharmonic.

　　Mr. Kamu has guest conducted all over the world, his list of orchestra include all London orchestras (he has made two ABC tours in Australia, performed in Perth and Adelaide Festivals with the Royal Philharmonic of London). In America he has conducted, among others the Chicago, Boston, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Washington DC, Dallas Symphony Orchestra. In the East, he visits Japan yearly with the Japan Philharmonic and has also conducted the Yoiuri, Metroplitan and the Tokyo Symphony and in 2004 makes his debut with Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra. This incoming concert will be Mr. Kamu's second visit to Hong Kong with Hong Kong Philharmonic. In Europe he has conducted virtually everywhere.

　　In 2004 he has made his first appearance with the Petronas Philharmonic Orchestra in Kuala Lumpur, Osaka Philharmonic and a return concert with China Philharmonic Orchestra.

　　In 1995, Mr. Kamu was appointed Principal Guest Conductor of the Singapore Symphony Orchestra and from 1996 to 2000 he was the Chief Conductor of the Finnish National Opera. He has been principal guest conductor of CBSO in Birmingham and is currently principal guest conductor of L'orchestre de Chambre de Lausanne.

　　He has recorded nearly 100 recordings for various lablels and been a member of Royal Swedish Academy of Music since 1994.
