钢琴家：格哈特?奥皮兹

　　CCTV .com消息：格哈特?奥皮兹是国际公认的德国钢琴传统首屈一指的代表，这个流派的起源可以通过奥皮兹的老师威廉?肯普夫上溯至李斯特和贝多芬。

　　格哈特?奥皮兹1953年出生在巴伐利亚的弗劳恩奥，5岁开始学习钢琴。在11岁举行的首次公开演出上，他演奏了莫扎特 的Ｄ小调钢琴协奏曲。斯图加特音乐学院的保罗?布克教授发现了这位小神童，将他收为门下弟子。1973年，格哈特?奥皮兹与著名钢琴家威廉?肯普夫邂逅，肯普夫不久就成为他的私人教师和良师益友。肯普夫邀请这位年轻的钢琴家参加自己私人举办的大师班，教授格哈特?奥皮兹演奏贝多芬的钢琴奏鸣曲和钢琴协奏曲。肯普夫不仅惊诧于这个学生过人的记忆力，还惊诧于他们师徒之间在艺术处理方法上的惊人相似。肯普夫去世后，格哈特?奥皮兹依照他的遗嘱每年都在波西塔诺举办贝多芬大师班。

　　格哈特?奥皮兹演奏曲目广泛，风格多样。他的音乐会曲目主要以完整的钢琴套曲为特色，其中包括舒伯特的全部独奏钢琴作品、 贝多芬和莫扎特的独奏钢琴作品、巴赫的平均律钢琴曲、格里格的钢琴曲以及他特别喜欢的作曲家勃拉姆斯的全部钢琴作品。

　　Gerhard Oppitz is internationally recognized as the leading exponent of the German piano tradition. This school of interpretation stretches back through Oppitz’s own teacher Wilhelm Kempff through a direct lineage that finds its origins with Liszt and Beethoven.

　　Oppitz was born in Frauenau, Bavaria in 1953 and started playing the piano at five. He gave his first public concert at the age of 11, performing Mozart’s D minor concerto. He was discovered by Paul Buck, professor at the Musikhochschule in Stuttgart, with whom he studied piano. In 1973, Gerhard Oppitz met Wilhelm Kempff, who soon became his guide and mentor. Kempff invited the young pianist to attend his private master class in Positano, where he coached him in the sonatas and concerti of Beethoven. Kempff was impressed not only by the breadth of his pupil’s repertoire and his remarkable memory, but also by the striking similarities in their interpretative outlooks. After Wilhelm Kempff’s death, and at his bequest, Gerhard Oppitz assumed the teaching of the Beethoven master classes, which continue to be held yearly, in Positano.

　　Gerhard Oppitz’s own career opened up internationally in 1977 when he became the first German to win the coveted Artur Rubinstein Competition in Tel Aviv. This achievement led to concert tours across Europe, Japan and the U.S.A.. In 1978, he was offered a post as professor at the Munich Musikhochschule, becoming the youngest professor in the Musikhochschule’s history.

　　Gerhard Oppitz gives around 80 recitals and concerts a year, playing with the most prestigious orchestras of the world including the Berlin, Vienna, London, Israel and Royal Philharmonic Orchestras, the Philadelphia and Cleveland Orchestras, and the Boston, Pittsburgh, London and Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestras. He has performed with such conductors as Carlo Maria Giulini, Klaus Tennstedt, Riccardo Muti, Lorin Maazel, Sir Colin Davis, Kurt Masur, Wolfgang Sawallisch, Christoph von Dohnanyi, Eliahu Inbal, Marek Janowski and Horst Stein.

　　Gerhard Oppitz has a wide and diverse repertoire. Performances of complete piano cycles feature prominently in his concert programming: Schubert’s solo piano music, Beethoven and Mozart Sonatas, Bach’s Well-Tempered Clavier, Grieg and above all, the complete works of Brahms, a composer with whom Oppitz has a special affinity.

　　Now internationally recognized as a leading interpreter of Beethoven and Brahms, he has performed over 17 complete Brahms cycles in most of the major cities of Europe including London, Geneva, Frankfurt, Leipzig, Munich, Paris, Milan, and Berlin, as well as in Tokyo, and elsewhere. Gerhard Oppitz has earned a reputation in the performance of contemporary music, particularly works by Lutoslawski, Ligeti, Veerhoff, Boulez, Messiaen and Stockhausen.
