Special Report:   HK 10 Years

On these tours, you can enjoy the sight of pink dolphins swimming close to Lantau Island; experience Hong Kong's favourite sport, horseracing, in style; and learn how to cook Chinese food on your own.

Come Horseracing Tour

Experience one of Hong Kong's most popular activities in style on the Come Horseracing Tour. This tour gives visitors the chance to spend either a day of racing at Sha Tin or an evening at Happy Valley in the plush comfort of the Hong Kong Jockey Club Members' Enclosure enjoying all of the heart-stopping action.

Nothing sets Hong Kong abuzz with excitement quite like the thrill of horseracing. The atmosphere is exhilarating, betting is feverish and there are potentially huge rewards.

Giant video screens (the Sha Tin screen is the biggest in the world) face the stands, so you never lose track of the horses. Picking your favourite could not be easier - simply place your bets at the Jockey Club's fully computerised on-course betting terminals. These are linked with 125 off-course betting branches throughout the territory, so even those not attending the tracks can reap rewards. Race meetings are held on most Wednesday evenings and weekends throughout the September to June season.
