The Boao Forum for Asia Annual Conference 2009 will be held on April 17-19, 2009 in Boao.

The theme of this year's event is Asia: Managing Beyond Crisis. Over the three days of the 2009 Annual Conference, delegates are expected to debate and discuss the impact of the crisis on Asia and how the region can weather these challenges as effectively as possible.

Also the event will attach much importance on the increasing role that emerging economies play in the global financial arena, noting that panels concerning emerging economies at BFA 2009 are a reflection of their growing international importance.
