As the Tibetan New Year comes near, the festival market in Lhasa, capital of the Tibet Autonomous Region, is so busy that it brings much more income to the rural people who sell commodities.

Lhakpa, a rural man from Sangmu village of Doilungdeqen county of Lhasa, told the reporter that these days he can earn about 80 yuan every day by selling flowers and highland barley. And Pasang from Nyemo county of Lhasa earns 400-500 yuan every day by selling Tibetan portiere which is called "Longda" in Tibetan language.
