QINGDAO, East China, Aug. 15 (Xinhua) -- Hein Verbruggen, Chairman of Beijing Olympics Coordination Commission of the International Olympic Committee (IOC), inspected Qingdao International Regatta with his IOC colleagues on Wednesday.
Officials of Qingdao Sailing Committee gave a brief introduction of Qingdao and the event to the IOC delegation, and also reported the progress of their preparation for Beijing Games.
