QINGDAO, Shandong Province, Aug. 12 (Xinhua) -- The 2007 Qingdao International Regatta, a sport event for the 2008 Olympic Games, opened here on Sunday.

Teams from 49 countries and regions are participating in the event in the Qingdao Olympic Sailing Center.
