These are the Ministry of Industry and Information, the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security, the Ministry of Environmental Protection, the Ministry of Housing and Urban-rural construction, and the Ministry of Communications.
Bringing them together is a move aimed at strengthening overall management, and coordination, as well as pushing forward reforms in various sectors. The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology will also be responsible for the supervision of individual industries, and the drive towards more innovation in technology.
