Relief efforts continue in the aftermath of the Wenchuan |
The stage play "Great Love Without Bounds" proved an instant hit with audiences at the Xi' an Foreign Affairs Institute in Shaanxi province. The production is the first to come to the stage to recount acts of courage by rescuers after the earthquake. Students at the institute and general audience members felt overwhelmed by what they saw.
The play was written by two local students who spent weeks helping with relief efforts in Qingchuan county. The profoundly human events of the play, are based on actual incidents in the badly stricken county.

After performing at the Xi'an Foreign Affairs Institute, the production plans a tour of other post-secondary institutions around Shaanxi province. All proceeds will be donated to help reconstruct quake damaged areas.
