The Shanghai and Shenzhen Exchanges said on Monday that they encourage investors to use the off-market system to sell more than 1.5 million shares in a listed company in the space of a month.

The official Shanghai Securities News said the stock exchanges will send a notice their members and investors today (Tuesday) to explain the off-market system.
