The street, one of the most well-known bustling sections in Lhasa, sells various kinds of handicrafts and life necessities from local areas, India and Nepal.
Nyima, head of the Tourism Office of Chengguan District, said that the Barkhor Street is one of the most featured historic and cultural streets in China or even worldwide due to its unique historical, cultural, religious, ethnic and commercial characteristics.
