With the help of netizens, Brother Sharp was reunited with his family

When the station wanted to contact the relevant authorities in Jiangxi Province, "Old Greedy Cat" called Li on the evening of March 6 claiming that Brother Sharp's mother and younger brother had arrived in Ningbo to meet with him.

Credit should go to the warmhearted Ningbo netizen, reporters learned afterwards. According to the Oriental Hotline reporter Zhang Jiejun, a warmhearted netizen found that "Brother Sharp" spoke with a Jiangxi accent, so he posted the information on a BBS forum. Later, a college student in Ningbo read the news and told his father, who happens to live in the same village of "Brother Sharp." Learning this, the sister and brother of "Brother Sharp" immediately went to an Internet café nearby, studied the videos and pictures on the BBS carefully, and confirmed that he is in fact their long-lost dear brother, following which, the whole family immediately took a train to Ningbo despite being late in the night.

His younger brother Cheng Guosheng said that Cheng Guorong ("Brother Sharp's" real name) had left home more than 10 years ago and told the family that he left for work. However, the family received no news from him ever since. "Brother Sharp" now has two children, of whom one is 11 years old and the other 10 years old. Unfortunately, his wife died in a traffic accident last year, and his family dare not tell him incase that he may be too sad.

Reporters learned from the municipal assistance management station that "Brother Sharp" started his journey back home with his family at 4:30 pm on March 5, after the necessary formalities. His younger brother Cheng Guosheng expressed sincere gratitude to the Ningbo municipal assistance management station and helpful netizens in Ningbo.
