According to Zhao Jianjun, other vehicles will also be prohibited from entering the 12.5 square meter core zone of the tourist area and 17 parking lots there will be removed. At the same time, 5 large-scale parking lots will be built in places surrounding the core zone. In the future, vehicles belonging to tourists and the people working in the tourist area cannot enter the core zone, and at the 5 parking lots, people will transfer to environmentally-friendly buses in order to enter the tourist area. In order to facilitate this, the tourist area has planned to buy more than 40 environmentally-friendly buses and design 2 lines linking the 5 parking lots and all the major scenic spots. Bus stops will be set up at obvious locations to make them easy to find. “Entering and exiting the tourist area has been a major problem in the past, but after the road networks are improved, the traffic conditions will be greatly improved.

Reporters learned that the administrative office is now working on an intelligent management system in order to improve services after the motor vehicle ban is implemented. The office will use an electronic system to monitor tourists and the sanitation conditions of all scenic spots. Currently, the system is being tested and is expected to be put into use before this year's May Day holiday.

"We have installed 17 machines at 7 entrances, enabling tourists to quickly move forward by swiping their IC cards; the tourist service center will provide electronic commerce and mobile phone recharging services; besides the tourist service center, a 10 square-meter electronic screen will also help tourists," said Zhao Jianjun. A series of modernized management systems will be adopted before the National Day.
