It is located at the 45 kilometer section southwest of Tongliao City. With plenty of water, lush pastures and a beautiful landscape, it is dubbed the "pearl on the Shahu".
Molimiao Shahu Tourist District is not only noted for the biggest desert reservoir with coastal characteristics in Asia and the longest artificial sand dam in the world, but it attracts tourists with its magic legends, beautiful scenery and Mongolian custom. Scenery such as Moli Hall, Baliu Lawn, Bilian Pool, Xiangshui Bridge, Guichi Isle, Nanyang Peninsular, Yanwo Islands, Moliala make people carefree and joyous. Such rare fish as the Protosalanx hyaloc, soft-shelled turtle and river crab are all found here.
