Only 20% of the NPC deputies are women and that it is far from enough. The percentage of women deputies shouldn't stay at 20%. We should endeavor to increase the figure to 25%, 30%, and 40%. Women have greater potential.

NPC deputy Gao Baoling said: “The environment has greatly improved for safeguarding women's rights and promoting women's equality. But it's still very important for women to improve themselves. Women should never be complacent about pursuing their ideals for a better life. ”

NPC deputy Huang Guojian said: “In some cases, women may put too much emphasis on their struggle for equality and liberation. So, sometimes, the direction of their efforts may be unclear. As a result, the progress achieved may not be substantial. ”
