NPC deputies from Taiwan to boost cross-strait ties

NPC deputy Chen Jun said, "The low price only reduces the cost and therefore the quality of a tour. For example, travel agencies may shorten touring duration, or they may schedule more shopping to get more commissions. So I'm suggesting stricter regulation on the Taiwan tourism market. We should set up standards to price different tours accordingly."

Lawmakers from all over the country have been contributing  their ideas to the nation's development. Deputies from Taiwan  have focused on ways to boost exchange between both sides  of the Strait.

NPC deputies from Taiwan are witnesses to the changes that have taken place on the island since the three links opened. In representing the people's wills, they believe more could be done to improve exchanges. And it's hoped that their ideas will benefit more people across the Strait.
