NPC deputies from Taiwan to boost cross-strait ties

NPC deputy Chen Yunying said, "mainland degrees should be recognized in Taiwan so more students can study on the island. Education exchanges should include academics. As more Taiwan students study on the mainland, we should watch how they integrate into society. I'm also suggesting cooperative schools."

Tourism is another hot topic among Taiwan delegates.
Last July marked the official start of mainland tourism to Taiwan. It was good news to travellers and agencies. But competitors began a price battle to attract customers. On February 19th, prices dropped to their lowest. An eight-day group tour for only five thousand yuan, or seven hundred and thirty US dollars.
However, for Deputy Chen Jun, cheaper is not better.
