The Red Flag Canal Spirit still guides CPC members of the elder generations. But in the eyes of the younger generations who were born and raised in a peaceful and better off era, what's the role of CPC? And what's the motivation behind them to join the party? We try to find some clues here at a university in Beijing.
For these students, to become a Party Member is to take on a mission of trust.
In their eyes, the CPC is a sacred organization that pioneers China's development. They look to the elder members as role models.
University student Xia Luyi is a CPC member. He said, "They possess such good characteristics, such as perseverance, hard-working.
