According to the statistics from the Ministry the nation's supply of land, and the land acreage purchased by real estate agencies have not been decreased through government regulations. But, land made available for biding and auctions increased 1.2% in 2004. Gross land purchased in 2004 is near 40 trillion square metres, which is 5.9% higher than 2003.
