Commerce Minister, Bo Xilai, says China will help maintain stability in textile prices now quotas on textiles no longer exist. He made the remark when speaking at the 2005 China Development Forum which came to a close on Monday.
The minister said he realized the European Union, the US and some Asian nations have been concerned about China's textile exports since quotas were lifted at the beginning of this year. He said China has made an active response and are self regulating the country's textile industry with the aim to promote the healthy development of the world's textile markets.
