Wen Jiabao meets Rice

Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao met and talked with US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice Sunday.

During the talks, Premier Wen said that economic and trade cooperation is an important part of China-US relationship and the two sides should achieve mutual benefit and a win-win situation. Rice said that the United States hopes to see a confident and prosperous China and will deal with differences between the two nations in a constructive and mutual-respective manner. Additionally, they exchanged opinions on several issues regarding the Doha-round WTO negotiations.
