Russia celebrates China's National Day  |

|
 Russians and Chinese celebrated the 53rd birthday of the People's Republic of China in Moscow on Sept.27. The event was organized by the Sino-Russia Friendship Association and the International Science, Technology and Cultural Cooperation Center of Russia's Foreign Affairs Department.
More than 200 celebrities from different parts of Russia attended the celebration. China's ambassador to Russia, Zhang Deguang, introduced China's development since its founding and analyzed the development of Sino-Russian cooperation. A Russian representative expressed his belief that China will further open up and develop after the 16th national congress of the Chinese Communist Party. Various performances were also presented.
