NPC & CPPCC Intro.
The National People's Congress(NPC) is the highest organ of State power of the People's Republic of China. Its main functions and powers include formulation of laws, delegating authority, policy formulation, and supervision of other governing organs.
The Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) is the Chinese people's patriotic united front organization, a key institution of multi-party cooperation and political consultations under the leadership of the Communist Party of China (CPC), and a major form to promote socialist democracy in China's political life.
