| Chinese legislature adopts decision on election |

The Fifth Session of the Ninth National People's Congress （NPC）, China's legislature, adopted Friday morning a decision on the number of deputies electable to the Tenth NPC and matters related to the election.
The NPC meeting also passed two provisions on the election of deputies to the Tenth NPC from the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region （SAR） and the Macao SAR, respectively.
