| Hong Kong Chief Executive to Attend NPC Opening Ceremony |

The Hong Kong Chief Executive Tung Chee Hwa will attend the opening ceremony of the fifth session of the Ninth National People's Congress (NPC) in Beijing on March 5 at the invitation of the NPC Standing Committee, a government spokesman said Friday.
Tung will depart for Beijing on March 4 and return to Hong Kong on March 7.
