In the Spanish Primera Liga, the champions-elect from Barcelona almost took their 19th league title. But Villareal spoiled the silverware-presentation, holding Barca to a 3-all draw in a thrilling match.

More than 95-thousand spectators packed the Nou Camp, ready to watch Barcelona take the title. Fans displayed a banner reading "Saint" Andres Iniesta for his late equalizers that sent Barca into Champions League final.

12 minutes into the match, Eric Abidal to Seydou Keita, who unleashed a curling lob over Villareal keeper Diego Lopez.

10 minutes later (a perfect combined play by Villarreal to equalize), Yaya Toure was caught in possession, Cani sent low cross. Joseba Llorente tapped-in.

After 37 minutes, Lionel Messi broke clear to receive the free kick from Xavi. The ball went ahead to Iniesta, and Samuel Eto'o met the crosssing pass for the score.
