Special Report:   2008 European Championships

New Inter Milan coach Jose Mourinho thinks perennial underachievers Spain could shine in the upcoming Euro 2008. The former Porto and Chelsea coach says many members of the Spanish squad are benefiting from playing abroad, especially those currently performing in the English Premier League.

Jose Mourinho said "I think Spain has a lot of good players. I think they have, at this moment, also players that are playing outside of Spain who are adapted to a different football culture. They have players, especially in England playing at this level. I think this is very important for them. I think to play in England is a very good situation for their improvement as young players. Tradition says Spain is very strong at club level but didn't do really well in national team final phases. But, who knows, they can do it this time."
