Special Report: Strong quake jolts SW ChinaHouston Rockets centre Yao Ming says he is saddened by the deadly earthquake in his home country. Yao is currently in Houston, recovering from a broken left foot that's sidelined him for the last two months of the season. The Rockets say Yao will soon appear in a public service announcement asking for aid for earthquake victims in China.

Yao said, "Different people, you can find different ways to help. Of course, you can go back there. Maybe it's help but also here, if you stay here, you can tell people the story of what happened in China and let people know the truth over there, what's the situation over there and try get more people involved."
