The Pittsburgh Penguins have claimed their 15th consecutive win at home by defeating the Philadelphia Flyers in quite a heated match on Sunday. They now lead the Eastern Conference final 2-0.

A painful game early on, as Hal Gill's shot struck Philadelphia Flyers defenceman Braydon Coburn in the face,leaving Philadelphia with just five defenders. There was no love at all between The two Pennsylvania teams the inevitable fight right here between Tyler Kennedy and Scottie Upshall.Things finally settled down, Pittsburgh decided to open the scoring seven minutes later. The Flyers tied the game in the second period. Pittsburgh regained the lead eight minutes later thanks to another power-play goal. Six minutes after that, Pittsburgh were on another power-play when Malkin made a bad pass to the middle that Mike Richards easily picked up.

Richards raced up the ice on a breakaway past Gonchar, and lifted the puck over Fleury's glove for his fifth goal in five games. Fleury's squad would secure a win for him in the third period. Max Talbot, who missed the last three games because of a broken foot, netted his second goal of the play-offs before Jordan Staal added a fourth to win it for the Penguins, 4-2.
