Just 16 minutes into the game, Thierry Henry received the ball from Lionel Messi and fired it into the net. Eleven minutes after half-time, the hosts went ahead as Messi's volley was saved by Miguel Moya, but Samuel Eto'o pounced to put home the rebound. But in the 67th minute, Borja Valero's shot took a heavy deflection off a defender and flied into the net. Mallorca got a goal back. Less than three minutes later, Lilian Thuram only succeeded in teeing up Eto's countryman Pierre Webo, who struck the ball into the ground and it looped beyond the goalkeeper. The visitors leveled. Barca's night got worse in injury-time after Edmilson was sent off for a second bookable offence - Gonzalo Castro was the latest victim. But it didn't end there. Three minutes of added time, the ball dropped at the feet of Daniel Guiza - who made the final score 3-2 - a wretched way for Rijkaard to end his five-year reign at Barcelona's famous home.
