Since Olympic volunteer-recruiting resumed last November, the Olympic Sailing Committee received 17,500 applications, and has selected 14 hundred of those applicants to be volunteers. The committee will release the list of volunteers for the urban and transportation sector on April the 5th. 252 volunteers have taken their posts for about two weeks now.
