Capello said the LA Galaxy player would play some part in the fixture and reach the historic milestone. Capello was highly complimentary about Beckham, with whom he had a difficult relationship when both of them were at Real Madrid together.
In another friendly, Sweden will take on former world champions Brazil in London. The clash at Arsenal's Emirates Stadium is part of Sweden's Euro 2008 preparations. It also marks the 50th anniversary of the 1958 World Cup final between the two sides, and is the last match before coach Lars Lagerback announces his selection on May 13.
