David Beckham may not be England's captain anymore, but it looks like David Beckham is still the top dog in Asia. On Monday, he held a football clinic for his fans in Shanghai.

The LA Galaxy are in Shanghai ahead of their latest Asia tour game, but Beckham some time out for practice to hold the clinic for the children of Chinese migrant workers.

Beckham says he'd like to try and win back his place in the UK squad, and he'll take Wednesday's match against Shanghai-Hong Kong United as his latest step back towards full fitness.

Beckham said, "Obviously leading into games that are coming up with obviously the Galaxy and with England, we just have to wait and see. All I can do is to get my fitness and play as many games as possible and you know the rest is out of my hands. The most important thing is that I concentrate on playing and get myself fit."
