Folk songs and dances. And the costumes of the local minority.

When in Guangxi, do what people in Guangxi do, even on Christmas Eve.

For Chinese Hong Kong player Tie Yana and Austrian player Liu Jia, it was a brand new experience, dressing up like this.

"I've never worn such clothes before. It's a new experience for me and really beautiful."

"It's also the first time for me. I don't want to take it off. I'd like to wear it in the game."

Demonstration matches and matches between athletes and fans were also part of the carnival.

Guo Yan, China player, said, "The atmosphere is different from that of get-together with family or friends. It's really special."

"It's warm. I feel like at home."

"The audience is really enthusiastic. This Christmas Eve is very meaningful."

On this night, mirth and friendship replaced competition. For athletes taking part in the Challenge, they have spent a special Christmas Eve they'll likely always treasure.
