The Shanghai Special Olympic Games are at the halfway mark. 25 games have reached their finals. In the men's volleyball, the games were made even more exciting by a special mixture.

Although wearing the same uniforms, 3 of the 6 team members on the the volleyball court are non-handicapped players. This regulation has made the match more exciting to watch, and above all, makes the game more enjoyable for the handicapped players.

Some of the non-handicapped players have been in the game for years. They love playing volleyball and are very proud to be part of the Special Olympics.

Czech team captain, said, "We not only teach them playing volleyball, but also teach them how to get along with people. They are lovely and heathy people in our eyes."

In the match comprised of mixed players, the key is not the level of the non-handicapped players, but the coordination and quality of team work. The special mixture encourages the handicapped players and brings more humane care to them.

Czech player, said, "We are best friends, in and out of the court."

Through the participation of non-handicapped players, the organizing committee also hopes to bring more people and more support to the Special Olympic Games.
